good to see History continuing despite a new beginning

yes they are, and i should know they have been stored in my warehouse since they were taken down from knowsley road, and it was a pleasure to look at them everyday we had them, bit sad but hey there you go.

Of course at the HJ we got all new Sticks, which were impregnated with the whiskers of a Siberian Tiger

They were new in 2000 so hardly relics. But a nice nod to KR nonetheless.

In fairness though, the crossbar on the sticks from Wilderspool was wilting in the middle.

All the body heat from the Wire players who spent so long stood under them...

That is awful. I still laughed though.

Pahh Siberian Tigers? how last century , we use Dodo wax oil to polish them and they are made from the finest Aluminium saucepans donated by the Housewives of St Helens during the great Aluminium famine of 2000

One of my pet hates at KR was the height of the sticks. Most goal kickers kick the ball much higher than they were and then you get the "did it go over"/"didn't it go over" arguments. I would have left them at KR and got some new ones.

Last time I looked we only had three directly connected. (not counting the roof structure)
