Not sure this warrants its own thread but I thought people might find it interesting because it could be a sign of things to come. I know somebody who has decided that next year him and his family are all investing in season tickets at the new ground. None of the family were regular attenders at Knowsley Road and I daresay him and his family won't be the first committing themselves to something special in 2012.

Relatives of mine 2adults and 2 kids have bought season tickets for next year. They have never been before but the children are old enough to attend now.

It will be interesting to see how season ticket sales go. Hopefully we can get more families going to matches. Knowsley road was not the best place for taking them.

Hasn't the renewal deadline past now? So we should be able to see how many are sold in the seated areas for real?

My mother in law has got a season ticket with us for the first time since my father in law passed away five years ago. They were both season ticket holders at KR (in D Stand) for 20+ years before that.

Friends of ours have just purchased 2 adults & 2 child tickets in South Stand for the first time.

Always said it......BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME.

Another good marketing idea maybe to offer a 10% discount on season ticket price to junior players registered with one of the St Helens amateur clubs in the area.

My husband has always been a season ticket holder, but his auntie and uncle and me and my daughter have got them for the first time for the new stadium

Me and my mate will be getting a season ticket each too. I used to have one when I was younger but not been able to get one for a few years because I work shifts. Manage to sort it out with my manager to work around home games though Can't wait!

But you can't really reduce prices once you've put them on sale can you? Otherwise those loyal fans who bought early would have been ripped off.

It's time for them to get some hotties in red v hot pants in the town centre signing people up, particularly if we win the GF.

I go home and away with my misses and two kids. The kids have always had season tickets but me and the misses dont as it always works out cheaper in the long run due to holidays etc..... We have taken the plunge for next year and bought 4 STs.

I've bought a season ticket for the 1st time in over 15 years, used to have one then I started work in Hospitality which meant I've not even been a frequent visitor the last few seasons.

I've now managed to compromise with work so I can get the necessary nights off so I can't wait!

I've shown the pictures to a few neutrals who said they would love to come to the new stadium, whenever I showed them the old stadium they were not interested.

Does this mean we should make a new thread everytime some buys a season ticket.




Saints are making a loss on my family. My 2 sisters have renewed their season tickets, but my mum and dad have also bought season tickets too. They did not bother this year, but still ended up going to most games.

As for me, sadly I'll just have to make it when I can, but that should be more often next year with an additional wage coming in. Hurrah~!
