Thinking back on the semi, the atmosphere was great. We were good vocally, and Wigan were obviously.
I was stood todays the back of the stand near the middle. We were in good voice and I wonder if we can do something like Wigan have done with all this 'ultra' stuff.
I think with the new stadium next year it would be great if we enter it with a bang and have a great atmosphere for all of next year and after that by replicating what Wigan do but do it better. It looks really enjoyable and I reckon it would catch on fairly quick if we did it.

Theres only 2 teams who i can think that would out do with with atmosphere that would be KR and FC just from what i have seen before and together they are very vocal

We have had one or two games there when the atmosphere has been good but overall it has been a bit on the dead side. It's just not home. It's been a very strange season.

I don't think we need to copy the Goons though. We will probably find our own way in our new place once we know what it's like.

why dont you put slogans on the sides of your settees, which looking at the stadium today lots of you must of been sat on today .Lots of noise about it not being a big enough stadium but looks like the RL got it right maybe if it was wires their would be justification for a 20,000 stadium for the semi.

True. When it was announced it was at rye HJ, I thought it was terrible choice but they got it right.

I know we still had few hundred tickets left on Thursday which is pretty poor for such a big game.

The only way saints will get the same atmosphere as Wigan get in the new stadium is by having a successful team on the field.

We have to many stay away fans when the team aint playing well which happens at most clubs.

I expect the first few games will be bouncing in the new stadium, after that all depends how we are doing on the field.

Id love us to have a rival "ultra" group, fantastic for the game.

I could see it working, the would be the people doing it like us and our mates doing it and getting it to work. But when people see us doing it all the d*ck heads would join in and then it would really get going.

I have it on good authority from my mate on redvee that this is going to happen next season.

Ideas are being discussed all the time and I believe it will all be explained in the off season.

And with our 'home end' being terracing next year, I'm sure it would pick up

Saints Fans dont need Ultras or a Drum

I thought Wigans vocal support was pretty average considering they have already set up an Ultras in a stadium where you can stand and sing together.

Obviously it was a a very nervous match for them getting back to wembley .

Personally this I find the Ultras thing a bit pathetic but we will need to create some atmosphere in the new ground and hopefully that will come through the standing areas.

Dont split the fans with a little boys club.
