| This is an interesting one.
Cas stand on the verge of a first final in 19 years, this is probably Terry's best chance of getting to a final and winning something with cas before he heads for home.
I can see a few changes for the game this weekend for Saints.
Eastmond for Wellens
Gaskell for Pryce, with Pryce to the bench ( supposedly Gaskell was only rested this week anyway)
Could we get Clough back to give him an airing before the semi, to see if he is up for it?
Can/Will Cas rotate any players. It's a big game the following week and Leeds are beatable. Will the Cas players run as hard as they could, or will it be a case of protecting their niggles.
It may end up being a poor game from both sides as heads maybe elsewhere.

| Do a Millward and rest them all? The reserves have all played this season in the first team anyway so we can't be cheating?

| We didn't use Magennis until relatively late in the game on Sunday, so you could try to sneak cloughie in for a limited appearence. Problem is if we get a forward injury early on.

| The downside of this game is that it is on a Sunday, the week before the cup game. Wigan and Leeds will be playing Friday night and so have two extra days rest and preparation. Pity the game couldn't have been changed to the Friday as it would benefit both Cas and Saints.

Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.:Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG |

| I wouldn't, rest anybody unless a player is not 100% fit. Probably would like to see Eastmond with a bit more game time, perhaps coming off the bench twice for Pryce and wellens the two players only just returning from injury. Royce seemed to have got the rotation right with Graham/TP/LMS.
You maintain form better with a settled side, I expect saints to get better but I would like to see more mental toughness to compete for the full 80 mins.

| I'm not suggesting that he rest anyone completely, but Gaskell and Lomax did a job against Cas earlier in the season when Cas where alot better form wise.
I see no problem in playing Eastmond and Gaskell. Gaskell was supposedly rested for the weekend any way's and Eastmond well people have been calling for him to play ahead of Wellens.
These are the games Gaskell would have expected to get a run out at the start of the season, as opposed to the other 19 games.

| If Wheeler and Clough are fit they need game time along with Pryce. I wouldn't want to mess with our half back combinations if they're building up some patterns before the Semi final and play offs to come, so I'd keep Lomax in the side alongside Leon. Wheeler possibly in for Meli to give the big man a rest. May even be worth putting Kyle at Centre with Wheeler on the bench to cover Centre later with Kyle in the halves. I'd be tempted to give Graham a breather, or maybe reduce his game time too.
We can't really afford to rest too many though as we're still fighting for 3rd.

| That's why I thought Clough early would give him needed game time and reduce the work load for the rest of the pack.
