| For this "award" - as opposed to MVP - I'd like to nominate Scott Moore.
He's doing more (no pun intended) damage to opposition forwards than he did to those cars (allegedly).
TBH I think he is a brilliant player and has steadied the team time and time again e.g. when he came on against the cats last week (as he did against dire etc etc).
IMO Moore is made for LF the way he has been playing recently, but he can also be used as a hooker or HB or 2nd row - so valuable to the team.

| Yep probably our best player from the bench this year. Personally I'd play him at LF and push TP up front and drop LMS to the bench. I think it would give us a more aggressive starting pack. But lets face it playing a prop at loose is pretty much set in stone. So he will just have to show that aggression from the bench.

| People on here must watch a different player to the one I do. I don't think he has been 'brilliant' at all, brilliant at dropping the ball, missing tackles and throwing wayward passes maybe.
He has very odd moments of brilliance and brings aggression that we seem to lack these days, but for me they are at too much of price. If he could get his head together he could probably be a very good player, but I sometimes wonder what is going on in his mind with some of the things he does.

| definately Moore. Adds urgency when he comes on, always runs it in hard and never makes any major defensive errors, hope he can get over his off the field problems and sort himself out.

Maybe "brilliant" is a bit OTT but he is still our best sub so far this season. He is like a pocket battleship going round terrifying players (mostly opposition). He does make the odd error including his favourite - passing the bloodt ball 10 meteres behind him without looking (he's no Tommy God).
All in all he has the effect of lifting the team, when at times it really needed lifting, far more than the likes of ashust, dixon, magennis.

| Moore's really impressed me this year.
I had reservations about him. I didn't particulary think he had the stomach for the tough bits of the game.
This season, however, I started to see a player I really liked, playing a role we all see destined for Wilkin - a smart, ball playing forward. He'll take it up like a prop when needed, he's a range of skills, he fills in at hooker, works hard and it was a real shame when he injured himself.
Since his trouble, he seems to have added an extra level of aggression when he comes on, perhaps because he's desperate to repay the club for not sacking him.

This.
The thing with Moore is he has been around that long, we are expecting him to be a superstar without realising there is stil another decade in him.

| Moore is good playing as a back rower who can jump in at hooker occasionally when Roby is not there.
He has shown he is not a half or hooker despite growing up in those roles and its credit to him for changing the way he plays.
I am enjoying watching him this year and its the best we have seen him at Saints for me.

| I think Moore has done ok abd he's a ok player, he's nothing special but I like his aggressive attitude and wish a few others would follow.
I think I'm a little let down how moore has turned out as I thought he looked like he was going to be very very good player.
All in all, he's good player to have, covers halfback, hooker and backrow.

Ditto. If he can improve his professionalism he can be first seventeen for his career here.

I don't what the psychology issue is when people praise players who have yet done enough to form a consensus opinion. So I think fans like to get at the front of the cue hoping to be proved right with a positive review of a player. I'm with you Smurf, he is erratic, runs strange lines, is so often on a different wavelength to the rest of the team, he mucks up many a move. Due to his nature of forcing risky plays, he drops/fumbles more passes than he pulls them off, but of course when they do come off then you have yourself a memorable moment. He had a bad start to the season, though you wouldn't have known it if you'd read the forums here, but has come into some form now he's becoming established. I think he needs to play a safer game as I recognise he has talent, but is just too wild with it.

| Moore this season reminds me of hooper as a niggly aggressive back rower with a fair bit of skill. We have missed hoopers influence hopefully Moore can change that
