It's pretty dramatic stuff. They've closed off the roads around it and locals are being evacuated. I heard a resident saying they can't return to their house tonight, that's just hearsay for now. Seems the whole of the police force are there right now. I've taken footage as it unfolded, so I'll put it up on youtube tonight

Taking your comment seriously (which may be foolish) ... There is nothing sad about that local landmark ending! So long as it doesn't hurt anyone, it could burn to the ground for all I care. It's been an eyesore for years. Glad it's finally being demolished! |

Not that I'm suggesting there is a friendly nist group in St. Helens or anything.
