I suppose that just because the suspension is lifted - it doesnt mean that the coach has to pick him - there are enough precidents in Aus where someone has announced they are leaving only to find themselves not picked - Bulldogs did it to Willie Talau when he signed for us.

Not patronising you in the slightest, just putting my opinion across. I dislike Kyle's attitude with a passion, and think that as Sadfish said, he is taking the space of a player that actually deserves and respects the shirt they play in.

But, that said - I couldn't bring myself to turn my back on the club even if Eastmond does play for us again... which I highly doubt he will anyway.

I thought this would be the result - bit messy as I think his position is untenable in the side as basically this guilty verdict means he DID (in the mind of the club) make gestures to us, the fans.

With that in mind, I don't want to see him a red vee again - be it first team or lower.

I also think sitting him out for the rest of the year, even though not suspended, sends a very powerful message to other players at the club that we will not stand for being messed around by egos when there are young lads waiting to give their heart and soul to the club.

If Eastmond does play again and fans make obscene remarks and/or gestures towards him will they be barred from the ground?

Personally I dont want to see the little rat in a Saints jersey again. If were stuck with him let him rot and train on his own.

Leave him out of the squad and sit him just behind the bench to let him watch the players that give a toss.

Absolutely the worst possible outcome for us.

The over the top, very childish reaction by the fans means we lose a very dangerous player from the squad but also we don't save on his salary or have any room to sign some much needed cover because Kyle hasn't done anything serious enough to warrant being sacked.

Perfection for Kyle and his advisors as he now gets paid to do nothing for 8 months or so. Lucky sod.

Not making use of Kyle's pace in our outside backs would be a big mistake IMO given how poor they are in comparison to the big two W's.
