| Part of me wants to see him stay with Saints whilst part of me wants to see him become the best prop in the game by dominating down under.

hmmmm okay can't argue. If that is your opinion.
I honestly see him leaving soon though.
I feel that with a new chapter in saints history books; there should be a new captain who will be the new KC or better. He had four years as a real impact captain.
Can you honestly see James Graham stayiong that long? or even half of that?
I think he is a great player. Fast becoming the best prop in super league. But he is being called down under.

I don't think 'dominating down under' equates to being the best prop in the game. Given the number of good props down under (thanks to their much greater player pool) I doubt whether James Graham will ever be THE best in the game but he will always be ONE OF THE best props, whether he stays with Saints or goes to Australia.
I don't want him to go and I don't think he has anything to prove. He has proven it already. He is a world class player and once we stop thinking that somehow being a world class player for an Australian team is better than being a world class player for an English team then maybe we will start shoving it up the Aussies on the international scene again.
I sincerely hope that Simmons and McManus do persuade him to stay. If that means bigger, fatter wads of cash than we would normally dish out plus a free vehicle of his choice thrown in then so be it. He's worth every penny.

Thats what I thought. That said as much as I don't want him to leave I would fully understand if he did want to leave to go to play in Australia as it is a fantastic opportunity for him.

I'd like to see a day in my lifetime where England/GB/whatever could hold their own against the Aussies and the Kiwis on a regular basis and the best way to do this is for our players to play with the best players week in week out.

Too right.
I've spent a lot of time and money following GB/England here and in Oz and one day I want to see Jammer lift a trophy in an England shirt - it would mean a lot more to me (and the sport in this country) than Saints winning the double three years running.

Why on earth does James Graham have to go to Australia to enable him to lift a trophy in an England shirt? He is perfectly capable of doing that now, should most of the rest of the team rise to his standard (because that is what it will take, whether Jammer is playing in SL or NRL).
Give me both, personally. See him lift a trophy in an England shirt AND help Saints win the double three years running! Why should we encourage our best talent to go play for the crims? They can train up their own instead.

They do. Too a much higher technical standard than we ever seem to do.

Really? Then why do they want to nick ours?
Ellis and Burgess didn't look any different at the weekend given their 'higher technical standard'! Graham looked superior to both of them.
