Caught his after match interview on Sky Sports News last night. His comments about Cunningham were superb. Can't quite remember the words but to do with him being thought highly of not just over here but in Australia as well. He also hoped that the fairytale would come true and with no disrespect to Leeds or Wigan, would love to see KC go out in style.
Great words in what must have been a difficult time for him.

you have to give the guy credit he puts his body on the line all the time. He may get smashed, and he did last night when Soliola caught him, but he got up and took it on the chin. Its all part and parcel of being a rugby league player and the reason why I prefer this game over football.

Sums the guy up, seems a quality bloke. He was ( and so was Nathan ) chatting away and wishing KC all the best at last weeks club call, the pair of them were foaming at the mouth chatting to KC, giving him huge raps ( thats aussie for a compliment I think )..they both seem in awe of The KING, and rightly so.

Cunningham is very highly regarded in Oz. Just a shame his injuries never allowed him to truly make an impression on the international game. Buderus rates him as the best hooker in the game, for one. |

im a wire fan but i hope saints win mainly for cunningham. he is a legend and his class.. he broke our hearts once or twice but he is a top player. know who else thinks that saturday.. wigan 3pts ahead 1mins left and cunningham try final min wins it and gets harry sunderland trophy! he deserves that to happen
