He looked in a bit of pain when the doc was failing to get his finger back in place tonight! It took more guts than I'll ever have to carry on playing with it dislocated. He's a tough bugger, a very good player and a pain in the backside ... just like all halfbacks should be, really. A great shame he plays for Wigan!

I hate to say I gained a bit of respect for him last night with the dislocated finger. His reaction and response to the injury was exactly what a coach wants to see from his key players - "strap me up now, I'm
going back on".

I'm not going to make any comparisons with any of our lads.

He's a quality footballer, a real competitor and a niggly litte $h1t all rolled into one package. Potentially better than Edwards ever was.

I wonder if he will start nodding to the camera after scoring a try!

A fine post! Players that are hated are either dirty (Barrie Mac) or extremely good. To be fair weve had a few good players to hate in recent years, Sculthorpe, Cunningham, and Long to name but 3!
