Heard from a reliable hp that they are finally being hit for breaches of the salary cap. Can anybody else verify this?

Lol, how could they be done now for it? Live cap means that they cannot be pinged for breaching it unless they've done a Melbourne?

If that happened I think we'd know about it by now. There were rumours about them abusing the image rights issues and that the HMRC were going to hit them for a 6 figure sum. But it never happened and IMO it's just rumours.

Can we put a time limit on this and then when nothing happens you come out and actually name your "reliable hp".

Just so we can all understand the type of people who should be laughed at when they claim to be "in-the-know".

We have much better stars at Saints, albeit we have nutured our own.

We have the best Scrum Half, Prop and hooker in Super League, jeez we're even playing a full season without a world class New Zealand international. Somebody that will light up Super League next season. Added to Soliola we have also signed Josh Perry and Michael Shenton, Australia and England Internationals.

Just because warington pay silly fees for decent players because they cannot produce their own does not make them super stars.

The thing is normally players who come through the system at a club and have affinity for a club are easier and probably cheaper to keep - you can see this at Leeds (Players have been quoted saying they could have elsewhere for more money). Being a club in the mix for honours also help - until the CC last year Dire have stuggled to make an impact for years. As for stars , you maybe dont get what I mean , I dont mean they have all played like stars but have big reps

King, Solomona, Monaghan, Morley, Atkins, Hicks, Briers, Anderson Brothers, Carvell...

the list goes on, they havent produced these players and they are all stars. They have no homegrown pure stars, or stars in the making.

The one person that makes me think warrington is over the cap, is matt king. You'd have to pay a HELL of a lot of money, to a player with a damn good representitive career and winning titles in australia in his prime, to come and play for england, leaving all representive footy behind.

Its actually loopy, they look nearly as star studded as melbourne, pity they're still failing to beat the top teams.
