Excellent performance by England tonight and deservedly go through to the final next week. Our forward pack was excellent lead well by James Graham who I thought was outstanding as was Sinfield at hooker. One negative and I might be abit harsh here but I thought Jamie Peacock was yet again non existant. Maybe its tiredness after a long hard Super League season but we are not seeing the JP of old. Hopefully next week he will fired up and put in a top class performance. Big raps to Eastmond and Tomkins who I thought played well in the halves and maybe now we can look to a exicting Half Back pairing for years to come.

Well done England but the real test comes next week!

I agree with the well done but I think that the test tonight was equal to any the Aussies will give us. It's just that what the Aussies will give us will be different in nature. They are all pace and neat footwork whereas while the Kiwis have that they are also much beefier with their barging forward backs (can't tell the difference!).

It was a great match and I hope Smith now stays with that line up because if that one doesn't do it next week then there isn't one which will.

More deluded than harsh. I thought all the front rowers were great tonight.

I agree. Thought England were fantastic tonight. However I do believe that Australia will step it up next week in the final. They didn't finish the job lastweek and it hurt them when we came back in the 2nd. It won't happen again & when the Ozzies get their big-guns back we'll be struggling!

40-4 I reckon by the end.

I thought peacock had a very good game.
I think Bridge will be very fortunate to find himself in next weeks team.
Eastmond didnt get involved enough, which isnt supriseing seeing how inexperienced he Is.
Overall a good performance, but we're very limited in attack.

Fantastic performance by the England boys tonight, whose team performance was encapsulated by the man of the match, Kevin Sinfield! icon_lol.gif

ps where has the Sinfield thread gone, as it seems to have gone awol? icon_wink.gif

Roby is the one who will; be fortunate to make the team next week.

How many times does he scoot and get tackled and die.

Sinfield, Leuluai and Luke all showed him what a real hooker needs to do.

Don't think that is going to change. He hasn't shown he can impose himself on games for St Helens, so playing for England isn't going to be any different. He did a good job though, solid in defence and always has potential when he gets the ball due to his pace.

Sinfield's passing from hooker was 3 times worse than Roby's, he did play very well though.

Such a shame that petty 'club-bias' point scoring should come in to play after such a good ENGLAND performance.

Great show tonight, but I think next week will be a different story sadly.

No it wasn't and you're missing the point.

How many times does Roby scoot and then get tackled.

Just watch the game again.

It's not anti club bias, it's anti scooter hooker who can't pass and dies with the ball.

And as many on here will tell you it's one of my pet hates.

On a positive note, I did predict four years ago tonights England half back partnership, although even I didn't think it would happen so soon

They worked so hard tonight, made a couple of mistakes, but their enthusiasm helped England so much.

Fine, but why did you have to mention Leuleuai? He's effing terrible, plays for a sh yte mid table side and his nation is queueing at Manchester Airport as we speak.
