Are a joke...

OK, Ade had a good 1st 15 mins & Meli is good at taking the ball back in but the mistakes they make out weigh the good...
Tom Armstrong wouldn't of made the stupid mistakes..

They cost us the SL tonight.. End of

Potter should get some wingers who arn't from the muppet show...

The frustration thing with Meli is that he'd probably be the best winger in SL were it not for his 'moments'.

Gardner is just having a horrible time.

Meli has been awesome for the past 2-3 months and arguably our player of the season. He made 2 individual errors today, but in general he has been immense this year.

As Meli has progressed and improves this year, Gardner has gone the opposite direction. It seems that (along with Leon) his Australian experience last autumn has had detrimental effects.

The crucial moment in the match for me was not the ridiculous 'offside' try, but Gardner letting the ball go in touch from the second half kick off. The resultant drop goal meant that, in effect, we started the second half chasing the game. Even though we hit the front again briefly, we lost it there.

gardner is gash, meli might make a decent centre, but as a winger he is terrible, kick returns are half of a wingers game

Leeds fancy they will come up with mistakes - and they invariably do.

The turning point was meli dropping the ball in our 22 when we'd pulled it back to 10-9.

We was just getting on top at that moment then he drops the ball in a tackle from smith.

I think we would have gone on to win.

I was willing Gardner to have a yard of pace when he was going for his try.
Then i realised he didnt and sat back down.

Meli yes

how dare you speak the truth! This thread is for meli bashing only. Be on your way! icon_wink.gif

Meli is great with the ball, he makes tons of yards, but that one loose carry and his defending of kicks were big errors at the wrong time. He would have scored the chance that gardener had in the secon half though, the one where Webb assaulted him with his knees

I agree totally and have said so on these boards. However, the problem with Meli is that when he makes his 'individual errors' they are usually of the costliest kind imaginable, which was again the case last night. We haven't seen those errors lately and I'd actually forgotten that he makes them but my heart sank when he had his brainfart. After playing so well for so long, why did he go and do that at the Grand Final for heaven's sake?

It's tough to blame meli for last night as he played really well and been on top form nearly all year but his drop ball at 10-9 cost us the game IMO.

We was just getting back on top and making good yards but then meli cocks up again and it did cost us.

I can't stick up for Gardner any longer. He is rubbish. No pace. Can't catch. Can't beat a man.

I swear if the was a gap in the line 20 meters wide he would run straight at the defenders.

He brings nothing to the team at all!

I wouldn't worry about it, after Potter has had his way over the winter our wingers wont even see the ball!
