| Thought you lot were so very dignified in victory tonight. No big drama, just did your job with respect and paid tribute to Wakey. Good on you and your players. Your role was very hard tonight.
All the best to Chris Flannery and his Missus for the safe birth of the little one!!

| Thought Saints did a great job on us tonight, far too much in the forwards for us and did a proper number on us.
Probably the best reception any away team has got on entering the field at Belle Vue at the start of the game.
The result didn't matter tonight and I'm a little dissapointed, but still admire and appreciate the way Saints came and did their job tonight.

| so many times spectators of other teams come and knock the behaviour of other fans , i think then its only right and fair to applaud your fans for their impeccable behaviour before during and after the game.
thank you

| Well done to the Saints fans for their part in showing respect before and throughout the game, usualy when a gap opens up players and fans celebrate and get a little ott, in my opinion both players and fans did themselves proud by keeping it toned down whilst not spoiling the atmosphere for themselves. Well done Saints players and fans.
(Dont read too much into my username, I am Wakey)

| i thought it was great oh just how good wakefields fans were tbh towards saints especially when we entered the pitch, much respect for that, our sport is probably one of the only sports in the world where such events happen imo, were fans can be brought together on events like this

| The period of silence after the video on the big screen was special, it showed just how much it had affected everyone, even if they didn't know Leon. Must have been at least 5 minutes and could hear a pin drop.

Agree with you there mate. A very poignant few moments.
Respected by both sets of fans superbly.

| Great to hear these sorts of comments!
The period after the video when the whole ground remained silent sent shivers down my spine and once again made me proud to be part of this sport's community.

The whole experience was surreal, I know during the week some fans of both clubs mentioned concerned about groups of fans not respecting the silence, I am very pleased by the fact that they had nothing to worry about.
Both sets of fans proved what a fantastic "family" the rugby league community is and how we all come together in times of tragedy. In a way I found the impromptu silence even more moving than the official one but throughout it all I had a team in my eye.
Good luck to all at Wakefield for the rest of the season - you deserve some happiness there now.

There wouldn't be that much respect in other sports. Good to see the Wakey fans clapping Saints onto the pitch, on whole great respect shown by both teams and sets of fans.
