I'm sorry chaps, it's probably late in the evening and I'm a bit slow to catch on. I certainly see the connotations in what you say (chest etc), but then I read the usual diatribe posted by Saddened (who apparently is a Saints supporter despite the persistent diatribe he posts concerning most things Saints) and can't find the point being made?????

I presume the 'chest' is what Ski and saintyick is referring to, but what the hell is Saddend trying to say?

That he played poorly? Granted he's young, but he knocked on a few times, missed tackles and passed to the opposition in a clear scoring position. He had a poor game, being young doesn't excuse that. I'm not suggesting we ship him off to Leigh just yet though..

He's also playing out of position.

He also did that cracking move where he legged it down the pitch, jumped into the clouds, knocked the ball back into play without going into touch allowing us to get the ball from their kick off. He also made a damn good break towards the line. None of the mistakes you comment on are unique to our young players or to Wheeler. So why are you having a go at him in particular?

It just seems strange Saddend (BTW, what an apt handle you chose for yourself) that you seek every opportunity to diss the team you say you support.

Wheeler might have passed the ball to Salford (once! .. and I'm certain he is the first Saints player to do so), he might have knocked on (and I'm sure he was the only player to do so tonight ... yeah!) but he certainly didn't shy away from tackles, he didn't have what you call a 'poor game'. At the end of the day he is a Stand-Off, the coach (who is far more capable of choosing a team than you) decided he was the best man for the job tonight. As a stand-off, this year he has played at full-back, centre and wing - scored 2 trys in 2 games - should have had a try tonight (but that was chalked off by the linesman) .... not bad for a stand-off playing out of position is it? And to his credit, tonight he never left his line. And, if you want a player to do something with the ball, well, it has to be passed to him!

Ade Gardner didn't have the best of games either, you don't mention him - I'm sure he knocked-on more than Wheeler, and I'm sure he lost the ball more too - but I'm not criticising Ade ... but neither are you.

Do you think (even for just a few days) you could actually show some support for the team you claim to support? This nonsense/drivel you choose to post here about our players really rips me apart, they try their best - it's easy to criticise, you don't play the game. You know it really is shame on you, you should be supporting these lads, nit dissing them at every opportunity.
