Entertaining game although I'll guess both coaches will be disappointed with their team defence. Saints kicking game, particularly close to the line was very good and provided the platform for the tries that followed.

Standout players?

Massive result for Saints when you consider that all bar four of the saints team were second year and below. I don't think saints coach will be too concerned abut the defence.

Matt lee plsying 7 played well. Think he was mom. I seen wane doing a sharp exit

Good on both counts, we really could do with some fresh talent coming through in the halves. Not a good weekend for Mr Wane

And the u16s beat Warrington 54-8 - good weekend all round

It's amazing how anyone who wasn't at the game can comment on something they didn't see. Saints were the better team, yes, but the margin flattered them. As for the stupid remark by SaintsFan you would think that six academy championships in the last seven years should teach her something, especially when you consider Saints and Wigan are on equal points at this level. Let's see how the season pans out, just remember how Wigan started last year, and then how they finished.

Must go, U16's game at Orrell to watch.
