| I wonder what Eamon has had to say regarding Sunday's fiasco.
Will he make his views known in the next program I wonder.

He probably feels the noises from coach and captain have said it for him to be fair.

More like he's in hiding as he realises he has no credibility left.
No further he can say. He felt disappointed and let down, he will again. Time for action now not reflection, either on the coaching staff or the playing staff, whichever he feels is causing the problems.
Or is he just waiting for Friday? Pull the plug if we lose that one?

| I am looking forward to reading his programme notes on Friday night.
I wonder which aspect of British history he will choose to reference this week? Dunkirk?

He certainly won't call it 'our finest hour'!

It's about time he stopped being a smart ar*se and just say it as it is.
Brown should also make public what he means. I don't mean name players but say why he thinks the team have been dominated by Wigan.

They're both been very clear and everyone knows precisely what they mean.
What exactly do you need clarifying?

I agree Brown talks in riddles sometimes but it doesn't take a genius to work out what McManus means with his statements and references.

I would have thought the analogy about men in boats was very clear to everyone. Sometimes using analogy is a quicker and more succinct way of saying something. He got it spot on for mine. We do indeed have wooden men in iron boats.

Coz they're wooden men in iron boats! Dead obvious really!

Brown doesn't talk in riddles. He's just evasive. He should have been a politician.

He's definitely evasive I'd agree with that.

Strange, because the Brown interview I seen, he said he told the players etc and won't be telling anyone else.
We know what it is, why can't he just say it?
You need a reality check mate. You've done nothing but make excuses and back this current crap. It's not the fact we lost against the big clubs but it the way we lost. That's not acceptable!
I take it, you was one of the giddy ones tipping us to win the double, won't lose a game, best team on paper ?

| I would say that pre-season, St Helens goal would be pretty much the same as Leeds Pies Wire to finish top 4 with top 6 being the minimum.
Outside of this it be considered a failure.
Because Saints have been in a prominent position early season and are still there but for a point, I would expect that the board now would have reviewed this and set the minimum requirement as top 4 at the end of the campaign.
Keeping within the top 4 is well within Saints and Brown should be comfortable with his position.
I think dropping to 5th would be totally unacceptable and Brown would be emptying his locker by 10 am on the Monday morning following.

I've always said it will be a big achivement if we finish top 4. Wigan & Leeds are light years ahead of us and think they will make top 2.
3rd and 4th is anyone's with no real team looking like will clinch those spots. I'd put us in a group with wolves, Catalan, hudds that will be in fight for those 2 spots.
