Would anyone take a chance on bird now he's not going to jail?
IMO he's world class stand off and was best player in comp for last 6 weeks of the season buts he's also a total nutjob with off field problems.

The play-off match against Leeds showed how class he really is... when he was on Catalan were scoring and Leeds weren't and as soon as he went off it all went tits up... that guy controlled the side, something I think we're missing IMO also his off-loading ability is awesome

Finished the season as the best player in the league for me. An absolute son of a b1atch in defense, and a wizard taking it forward, he was single handedly ripping teams apart and took the catalans on a great winning streak at the rear of the year. Anus of a man it seems, but a diamond RL player.
Very lucky to be able to injure your lady like he did, and still have her stay on your side and still love you and also help you stay out of jail, must be true love, or she got a free mini copper, an apartment in sydney and a few K in her bank each month for the forseeable future !

Can't believe he got off (sorry, was found not guilty) for this. It was the most far fetched story I've ever heard. Apparently she glassed herself, your honour, but they pretended that a guy who wasn't even there did it. But whoever it was it definitely wasn't the guy who was fighting with her when she was injured who was also coincidentally the only other person present at the time. Yeah, sounds plausible.
