| Looks heavier than usual, I thought. Was strong in the tackle and was driving forward for good yards rather than using his, perhaps more familiar, bash & bounce technique. Is he becoming a more rounded prop forward, rather than the impact forward we're used to? Would this be a good or bad thing in terms of our overall prop set up?

| I think he's been quality all season when he has played. He is far, far fitter now than he used to be and at times is working his socks off in defense.

| I think he has had a good season.
Played very well on Saturday night, some big hits and took the ball well going forward.

| Got better as the season has gone on.
We need him as a 'rounded' prop as there are some promising young players who will need support as they try to step up.

| I think he is turning into a much better all round prop rather than just an impact prop. I would like to see him start a game as he can play more minutes now as well. With his aggression and power he would be much better than Hargreaves starting. Only problem then is the lack of impact on the bench.

| For me he's best as an impact player. We have plenty of hard working props, but Maurie offers something a little different with the ball. Keep him on the bench and use him in two short bursts and he's brilliant. For me, he was very good on Saturday.

A bit of quality would be nice with the hard work as well though.

| Think Maurie has one of the highest tackle busts stats in superleague despite his long spells out with injury. We always get momentum when he arrives on the pitch.

| Why did Potter take Faz off one minute before the half time hooter? That was just a waste of an interchange. He wasn't injured or anything and looked fine, not even breathing heavy. Potter makes some bizarre decisions sometimes.

Silverwood forced him to go off - blood on his jersey.

I didn't realise how bad until I watched it back on Sky+

| A few on here were saying Maurie picking up injuries might prove to be a positive if he is back fit and fresh for the play-offs - it certainly looked that way on Saturday.
I also agree he looks to have bulked up a bit too.

| Agree with most of the stuff above. Looks like Potter is ironing out his flaws.
