Quick question guys, is there pay on the gate at langtree park as ive never been before, also what the parking situation like???

prety sure you can pay on the day in away end but if not ticket office is good as long as your not very last minute same with parking any where in town centre is no more than 15mins from away end for the able bodied.

You can pay on the gate and the best car park to use is Chalon Way multi storey which is just off the Linkway (dual carriageway) into St Helens town centre from the M62 roundabout. Follow the signs into the town centre and when you see some traffic lights get into the right hand lane as you pass the Park Inn hotel. Turn right at those lights, go round a mini roundabout, taking the exit to the right, and you will see the Chalon Way multi storey car park on your right (near to The Range store). It is always open for the rugby and costs £1 to park there. There will be a sign telling you what time it closes.

Once you've parked up, go right when you come out of the car park, walk past the World of Glass museum, under the railway bridge and then follow the path towards Tesco. You will see the stadium behind Tesco. Just keep on going and you'll be at Langtree Park in around 10 minutes if you're ok with walking. For info, the route is fine for wheelchairs.

Ah. Isn't there another one if you leave the mini roundabout one exit earlier? Presumably that will be open.

There are other places to park but you may have to walk a little further as the chalon way car park was the closest. On a Sunday the town centre will not be overly busy, so you can find parking fairly easily.

Chalon Way was open the last time we had a Sunday game. The Council website is just standard information. There is no way the Council won't open it up for a match otherwise there would be parking chaos and besides, the agreement between Saints and the Council is that Chalon Way is the primary car park for Langtree Park.

How about the tontine car park, or Parr street, are they fairly easy to get to???
