ok we lack key position players and we have injuries,but the playing system is downn to pansy,theres nothin left in his tank!!!!huddersfield and last week wigan had great defence?yes and no saints where bloody predictable (at 6's and 7's every time a worrying trend)on 10 meters no ideas.It was almost a certainty that saints would impose their selves from 10 out we are flat and just lack ingenuity always a trademark of saints.Pansy for me cant bring anything to the table his catalan style is making saints mediocre .

Lets at least wait til the end of the season before calling for his head. I think most Saints fans knew the "glory years" could only last so long but even so we are still sitting at the top of the table and managed to get to the semi final which isn't bad really for a "mediocre" team.

IMO it's a bit of all but it's bit harsh to ask for new coach.

We're still top, it's not the end of the world, just because we lost a semi final in the CC. If it was the final eliminator then i can understand it, we were out played today and Huddersfield deserve their place.

It seems to me that Potter is doing the same to us as he did to Catalans, started the season fantasticly but dropped away towards the end of the season. It will be interesting next week to see how we get over the loss, and part of that will be down to Potter.

Give Potter a chance, we did say at the start of the season that it was a transition season, or re we going back on that?

all he has done is brought the style of play he coached at Catalans -and it is very boring.

As an outsider looking in your style of play has changed somewhat which you would expect with a new coach coming in, however to call for his head so early maybe a little drastic, he's having to deal with things such as Long and Cunningham leaving and the introduction of more kids that Anderson didn't have to.

ok ill eat my hat and detract all i say about pansy if we get grand final.But this is not a jerk reaction coz im miffed we didnt get to wembley hudds deserved it and well played to em,its just from what i have seen everybody knows from the field position saints have been in we should have had a hatful of tries.we were very lucky against wigan today was wigan game revisited .we are stuck in one dimension and cant see there being a radical change to pansys system.ill stick to my guns hes not a great deal more to bring we stuck in potter time.ill vote for changeicon_smile.gif

I am suspicious this whole thread is trolling.

But for me he is looking a very poor appointment. People say he was brought in to develop a squad. Coaches in SL have no input into squad development, the big men on the board make those calls these days and Potter just gets to coach whoever turns up to training.

He was given a hard job, a team being stupidly taken apart through retirements and departures of so many senior players not being replaced. But despite this the team hasn't played well consistently at any time this season. I can only think of the Leeds games and away to Bradford and Cas as games where I've come away thinking we've played well. The home games in particular have been turgid struggles and although we're top we are not anywhere near the level Anderson had us at in recent seasons. This doesn't bode well for the playoffs at all.

Potter has failed his first big test but why replace him? Who else could win anything with the squad and the injuries we've got?

The problem with us trying to play like Catalan is they had good big hard working pack but all we got is the 1 man pack in James graham

What a complete waste of time this thread is. The club will never ever consider replacing Potter. He's been brought in to do a job, and he will be at the club for some time yet until that job is complete or until he himself decides to move on. So you might as well get used to it, because it ain't gonna change.
