Not remotely bothered about McGuire myself. I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone, but we've been hit hard in the halfbacks (and everywhere else) but still worked damned hard to get to where we are. No doubt the Sky guys will be eulogising as if he's dead. But for me, all I can see is slightly less hassle should we win our semi and end up facing Leeds.

I think people were thinking about the four nations down under. I was hoping he would miss the remainer of the GF offs and poss GF but be back at his very best to face the convicts on 31 Oct.
The goon threads seem to think he deserves all he gets with some hoping he is out for good / end of career which is pretty disgusting.

Oh another note, we've had one half back for 17 of the 27 rounds. Which is quite bad going, but Sinfield has filled in well enough. I know its not on your scale though.

McGuire has been quality this year. Has well and truly hit back at all the people (me included) that said he was just a good support player. Has really developed all aspects of his game. Hope he recovers and can reproduce the form in the 4 nations.

Just found out hes Ruptured his crutiate ligermant and other ligermant damage...very simular to sia's injury 4 us early in the year!!!
