all this hype over eastmond makes me smile...you can all say what you want, but i'm not convinced about the bloke....when he plays half the time all he does his pass the ball..there's been times there's been a gap and he just opts to pass....wev'e won quite a few games without him this season anyway.
i think he's overated..and until he proves me wrong i'll keep on thinking that.

I still think Eastmond has some "raw" talent and it can shine, but heart I am unsure, RU would be an easier ride.

just gobsmacked at this thread, Eastmond is a hugely talented player, he is the England no 7 for gods sake , im sure all the very experienced coaches would have noticed if he was always hiding and the medical staff would certainly know if he was faking an injury, so is the OP suggesting the club are covering up? why? if you truly are an academy player , then you need to take a look at yourself and your jealousy, and sort it, or with that attutude you will probably be leaving the club very soon

Calling players who pick up injuries in top flight RL "soft" is pretty funny from keyboard warriors who wouldn't last 20 seconds on a SL pitch.

Eastmond played every game this year until his ankle injury. An injury that kept him out for a couple of months, so I guess that wasn't "legitimate" either? In case the OP has forgotten - he injured this ankle again by coming back too early for a big game at Leeds - hardly shirking games is he?

Is Leon "soft" because he's hurt his neck? I certainly wouldn't call Soliola "soft" and he hasn't played much this year has he?

Eastmond isn't the first young player to pick up knocks, nor will he be the last. From what I've heard about him you'd struggle to come across a more dedicated pro (tee-total etc) so I'm certainly willing to give one of our best players the benefit of the doubt.

It is ridiculous to call any SL player soft, as if they were soft they would not have made it to Super League. Kyle had one bad injury, its not un-natural to have other smaller injuries after that. Maybe you should take a look at yourself before going on a forum criticising others with homophobic language. It says a lot about a person if that's the only way they can express themselves.
