It’s always sad when any player of any club picks up such an injury. Walmsley is a great forward and will leave a big hole in your squad until he’s comes back. The primary issue though is the lads health and I truly wish him a speedy recovery.

Tonk Clubb was out for around six months with a similar injury and Oliver Gildart out for four months.

I'd be suprised if he played again.

This is what happened with Briers. He came back and then was forced to retire due to this injury.

If we are optimistic and take the Gildart time outage then Walmsley could be back for the Super 8's.
