| I read Walmsley has fractured his neck. Although the statement put a brave face on it, this is obviously a very serious injury, and it seems unlikely he'll be back this season, or - in a worst case scenario - possibly at all.
A huge loss for Saints and for England, and possibly the game.
In the brutal business of RL, though, what do Saints do? Do we stick with our existing roster and hope the others can make up for Big Al's missing impact?

| Tonk Clubb was out for around six months with a similar injury and Oliver Gildart out for four months.

| I'd be suprised if he played again.
This is what happened with Briers. He came back and then was forced to retire due to this injury.

If we are optimistic and take the Gildart time outage then Walmsley could be back for the Super 8's.

| Wonder if it's like Brent Tate's, he played on with a neck brace, bit different for a forward I guess...
