As a fan who has been spoilt watching my team in countless finals, I'm saying that losing in a final is nothing to be happy or satisfied about. If you're satisfied to lose in major finals then good for you and your club.

When Saints lose in a major final it is classed as a failed season to the fans.

Come back on here and gloat when you've actually won a title.

Losing in a final is more painful. If Saints haven't reached a final, then we've at least contested in the play off semi, you know, cos we're the only team in SL who have reached the play-offs on every single occasion. So, as the bigger more successful club, we can confirm that it is more painful to fall at the final hurdle than the 2nd to last hurdle.

How is losing 2 out of 3 with you not competing the 3rd "just falling short?". Newsflash, Wigan are competing the 3rd, not you. Oh, you mean the league leaders that no one has ever cared about except Warrington?
