I agree, the second half we looked half asleep until the last 15. We lacked the go forward in the middle which isn't surprising without Westwood, Dodds, Currie, Harrison. I'm really gutted, but I'm looking forward to next season already. We've got Cooper back from the NRL and hopefully Dodds back from injury plus Crosby who looked good tonight.

Next season we should be ok. On the Saints front you've signed that prop from the NRL who looks a really good signing. You've got Matty Smith by (all accounts) who would pair up well with Fages IMO,

Losing in a final is more painful. If Saints haven't reached a final, then we've at least contested in the play off semi, you know, cos we're the only team in SL who have reached the play-offs on every single occasion. So, as the bigger more successful club, we can confirm that it is more painful to fall at the final hurdle than the 2nd to last hurdle.
