| Madness.. this from a fan of a team who cannonball third man in, lift the players and throw them, locking heads in (Goons are masters at it). And did you see the football esq rolling around from Rat-boy claiming he was trapped. 5 minutes after Saints got penalised for not getting away from the play the ball (after Tampax-O'Curly mop threw the player behind him).
I need to go for a pint in Goon-ville after players bottling each other and the delusional comments from the fans about the game, Th'ale must be strong....

| I personally don't like the ban for punching as two players will stand toe to toe in next few weeks and throw punches and all they get us sin bin. The disaplinary ain't consistent on punching imo. I've either a ban or it isn't.
The hit he did on lms isn't a ban either imo. It soft and stupid by FPN.
I do think the hair pull is a ban, imo that's sly play by FPN and it's a cowardly act. I don't like things like pulling hair at all.

Quote pies-r-us="pies-r-us"For a start his name is Frank-Paul Nuuausala, not Frank-Nuuausala Paul. (FPN) you didn't even get that right either. LMS such an angel who's never been known for bother causing, was in my opinion shabbily treated, not him one for a sly push in the back, or forearm across the face while a man's on the deck, no not him, but I must say it was out of character of him to rub his forehead and luscious locks in the face of an opposition player, after all it must be said that on the Saints thugometer all that grease and dandruff could have blinded a man and ended his career!'"
Angelic FPN is just the ticket for Wane.

Congratulations Hombre you once again have managed to scrape your way through the bottom of yet another barrel. As an advocate for the prosecution of FPN that's a pretty feeble effort, and anyway I don't know why you bothered. Because at the minute I think FPN is a bit of an idiot too. He's let down his team mates, the club and the fans as well. It's a hard game for hard men but some on “ALL” teams do cross the line, and it's always been so! Remember one man's “dirty sod” is another man's “you don't mess with him, he'll never take a backward step”.

| If you watch the saints-Wigan game again, you will notice a number of tackles where saints have a 3rd man going in low to the legs to lock them together.
This isn't something only Wigan do, try and take the blinkers off.
The 'punch' was one of the softest I've ever seen, many players in the past have done far worse and not been banned.
How come Wigan with their apparent control over the RFL have been punished with a ban? It doesn'nt make sense does it - or is it just a load of crap spouted by 'outraged' fans?

| Quote bewareshadows="bewareshadows"It was never going to be a huge ban. Players get taken off the ball every week and a penalty is sufficient.
But it does show he's a grade A idiot so should be simpler in the future to wind up and remove from play.'"
This actually ed me off as a neutral, yes players get challenged running in support, but LMS wasn't running up as an option in play, he was stood getting his breath back an more importantly Nuasala hadn't got back in the defensive line and came up as a tackler, he stood still after the play the ball and subsequent turnover and went hunting, balls to the game.
Like brent webb used to, surely you can't be doing that, just switching off completely.

Every team has the 3rd man in goes around the legs, it's the modern game and kids of 15 are taught to do it.
It's a ploy to slow the play the ball down and the idea is to put the player on his back (takes longer to get up to play ball).
By no means does it mean the 3rd man cannon balls the attacking player

| What concerns me is that we tried to sign FPN, did the club do their homework on him or was it a recommendation from Soliola etc. It only took a couple of google searches to find out that he does the daft stuff and has problems with his temperament, he was also some kind of gang thug in Aukland and despite Rugby League mending his ways he still can't help himself from doing the occasional off the ball stuff.
Was the club willing to take the risk of having a Vila Matautia type player rather than an Apollo Perelini one,

| I would hope that if the guy turns out to be a Hock clone that he would be shown the door tout de suite! We've enough with injuries, we don't need a load of suspension added to the mix, who would?
As I've said before I don't mind a bit of rough in our game I don't think we should over sanitise it too much, a bit of lets call it rough and tumble IMO is acceptable, thuggery isn't. But thug is a nasty word that is used too much on these boards and I would say is way out of context on many occasions. The Flower's incident I think was a red mist and "brutal" act of unacceptable on field violence, of that there's no doubt, but even though I don't no the man personally I wouldn't call him a thug on or off the field. Telly has made us over scrutinise something that when we are at the game with our mates would just say “ the dirty dog” and moved on. Now he's a mindless thug even when no one's really hurt.

He hit LMS late, off the ball and when LMS wasn't looking. The epitome of thuggery.
I'm so glad we didn't sign him. He looks woeful. I wonder if greenwood has let him out of his pocket yet?
