The club just doesn't think does it? If the board somehow doesn't spot the ridiculousness of the timing of the announcement, surely the PR/marketing manager should be able to? It's almost like the club is now so much of a clique that they literally don't care one bit about the supporters. It feels very much like this is a fingers up gesture designed entirely to antagonise the supporters.

Having said that they clearly deserve it as players. Shame that their incredible achievements as players are being eroded so much by the ill feeling towards their continued ruining of the club as coaches.

Two great players and well deserved. However, can't help but feel that this is a show of support for them from the top and a reminder to the players and fans that we have 2 club legends leading us.

Well deserved from the legendary players, but timing isn't perfect, maybe they want to get them into the hall of fame before one of them leaves the club. I think McManus will hold fire until the outcome of the 8's or if he finds difficulty in signing players because of the failed coaching staff.
