Boring and tedious would describe RL at the moment.

What would be interesting is how many trys have been scored from kicks in the last 5 years compared to the previous 5 years. Far too much time wasting last season and this season, there should be a time limit on goal line drop outs and penalty kicks to touch.

The number of people who keep saying the same, they don't go to live games, cancelled Sky if they feel like a match it is the pub for them, we used to call the other game for being Kick & Run, we are much worse than them, and touch line kicking is a joke, what has gone wrong, I don't know any longer

Bring back the biff

There's been loads of exciting, down to the wire, games this year. It's just that Saints have been poor.

IMO the game is still dealing with the quick ptb era producing weak halves that didn't need to know how to control a game (and we were great proponents of this style of play under Millward).

Most of the super league games have been very poor quality with errors from dropped passes, mis-tackles, not dealing with kicks etc that have provided the excitement, rather than skill and intensity. Saints joined the robotic clan early in the season with trying to complete sets and win the middle rather than creative play, we could say Walsh, Fages and the introduction of Lomax is starting to steer away at last from this boring stuff.
We were once the ambassadors of open creative rugby which Warrington have adopted more this season, I agree with most of Phil Clarkes article, we definitely don't want Robots who decide to activate after 5 tackles, it just won't attract and increase the fan base.
