Aye. I'd imagine Hull would throw big bucks at Houghton to keep him, as well. I'd imagine it would be a young up-and-comer or a decent pro who's not quite top drawer (like, say, Shaun Lunt).

Burns is out of contract surely? We should be trying to get rid of him but not sure who would pick him up at this stage of his career.

If we've some money to spend we couldn't do much better than the kid Johnstone from Wakefield. Carney would have to come into consideration too, we are crying out for size and speed. Young Spedding looks to fit into the tiny mould of all our existing outside backs unfortunately.

Surely the only NRL wingers that would come over here are the English ones, anyone with an ounce of potential is much better off staying over there.

I know; I was just thinking how funny it would be more than anything else.

Greg Eden is another who could potentially come back, but I'm not sure I'd put him in the 'quality NRL winger' category.

That was not the news I was looking for. Feels like he's been here forever already, wouldn't blame him if he stuck his heels in for another year.

Undecided, or unannounced, at least. His contract is up at the end of this season.
