Widnes are hardly overflowing with world class players but manage to play open exciting and winning Rugby. We are just poorly coached.

I'm not calling for KC to be sacked but the style of play is coming from the coach. Some players ain't happy playing this style either.

We don't have the players because we're signing bang average players which is the responsibility of KC, Rush and McManus.

There's no excuse for our brand of rugby, we're not well coached and we've signed badly for several years.

So what else is the answer if it's down to him?

We can give KC some slack for last season but its obvious that he is blinkered into a safety first policy and winning his "middle", the offloads and spreading out wide for clean breaks is being de coached out of the team, I think we are the worse if not one of the worse teams for this type of open play.
Widnes, Warrington, Castleford and Salford are the opposite and play a more adventurous style, I think I would prefer an exciting on the edge of your seat loss than these dead boring soon forgotten wins.

Change the way we play. Let the players have more of a input on how we play and stop this one up crap

He's not gonna do that though is he? Any coach with an ounce of sense wouldn't publicly have a go at the speccies the way he has done this week so the way with him seems to be 'I'm the boss - what I say goes'. I honestly don't think he has the intellectual wherewithal to understand how he needs to conduct himself.

All too cosy with Rush, McManus and him. Hail King KC the un-sackable.

He's not media savvy and needs to think before he speaks otherwise he's going to shoot himself in the foot on everything he quotes, I'm surprised McManus hasn't had a quiet word as the image of the club is being effected. It's a long time since we've had a decent coach who can project the right image, its been mostly downhill since charismatic Mick Potter arrived on the scene.
Our style of play is so obviously inept to attract additional support, we have around 7200 season ticket holders this season, I can see this dropping to around the 6000 mark next year, will McManus wake up to the fact that to draw fans through the turnstiles he needs to get the mojo back to the "Saints Way" of entertaining rugby.

If crowds were to drop significantly, would that not have occurred this year.
Plenty were talking in the off season about it being the end of the 5 year deal and how many would not renew and how the crowds would be dropping this year.

Season ticket sales have dropped significantly over the years, I seem to remember we had about 9700 season ticket holders about 4 seasons back which is now down to 7200, so we have perhaps a more significant number on single match day tickets which is subject to the highs and lows. I reckon the majority of fans have given KC bit of slack prior to his disregard to fans expectations, we will just have to see were we are as discussed in the next 5 games.

Too many people moan too much, Internet forums just give those people an easy outlet. Sport as a whole has changed, not just RL and it's fickle supporters. Modern life is all too much about instant gratification, sports fans in general want it all and want it now. ), too many teams think they have a divine right to the best players and wearing the champions rings. Nobody wants to work hard for anything nowadays, and that includes supporting your team and having some loyalty and patience. For me RL is becoming much like the round ball game, a crooked governing body, players throwing themselves about and 80 minutes of histrionics, and supporters not prepared to jump in there car and drive over the Pennines for a couple of hours cause it's "too far and the traffic's too bad". It's a toss up who is worse, the governing body, the 18 stone man that crumbles under the finger of a 10 stone scrum half, or the fans that want spoon feeding success along with everything else they get so easily.
