One of the reasons for a club being persistently at the lower end of Superleague is having a coaching set up that is not all that good at identifying and nurturing talent. Given that, the evidence cited for Jack Owens being a poor quality signing (that he's been released by Widnes without a fee) is scarcely worth a bean. However, if you labour under the delusion that our Chairman is not aiming for success then you probably believe that bean is magic. But there you go, on another board people are trying to persuade people that the world is flat; it takes all sorts.
