True, it was almost as funny as Wellens in the 2007 Grand Final going face down on the pitch, arms flailing whilst Scott Donald glided around him.
But the funniest was a cup game back in the 80's (Saints vs Halifax, I think) when a very young Garry Connolly was the last line of defence facing a rampaging Brendan Hill. He threw himself at Hill in a vain attempt to stop him and ended up like a bug splattered on a windscreen. Hill didn't seem to notice, continued charging over the line but couldn't ground the ball because Connolly was still hanging on for dear life!
