Last season I'd have agreed but Thompson has gone backwards this season. Whenever he's played I haven't even noticed him at all. I'm not sure if he's just had a few injuries, a bad season or he's not been handled well by the coach but for me when full strength he wouldn't get in the 17 at the moment for me.

Phil Clarke reckons we're gonna get pummelled in this game. I don't agree much with what he says but I did like this....

Given that we didn't know who we'd get by winning or losing, do you think we have played better or differently if we'd played last and knew who we'd meet based on winning or losing?

Thursday was basically the story of our season. Boring one up rugby, not making any meters, dropping off silly tackles and tried to grind a win out.

Wire looked like the top 4 team on show on Thursday night with Saints not bothered ready to pack up for the season. If they can't be bothered next week then I probably not bother getting a season ticket next season, too many games with the wrong attitude and discipline, don't mind us losing if the commitment is there. What annoys me most is quite a lot is dead easy to fix, quicker line speed and better discipline then half the battle is won.
