Weird thing to say when only Roby and Walmsley made more metres than him and the only back to make more tackle busts than him was Swift. He wasn't at fault for the Wigan try either, Burns was by making the wrong decision giving Wigan an overlap regardless of Dawson's actions.

Dawson played well but he did make a couple of bad errors. The knock on at the play the ball could have been costly and he was in no mans land for one of their trys which allowed for a walk in.

Dawson was solid, exactly what we needed in a backup - made a few errors as mentioned, but I'd say they were as much about him just being back from injury as it is him as a player.

We can laugh at Bowen, but apart from the 2 mistakes, he dealt with an awful lot last night. We just threw too much at them.

Dawson did ok. He hasn't played super league for about 2 month don't forget. He might have been caught out postion wise but that's only because our edge defence got sucked in which leaves a winger in no mans land.

I think he did well and was better choice than putting a young kid out there which would invite Wigan to attack him and kick to him.

I think Dawson is a decent squad player and has come on really well from when he first came.

The Wigan fans contributed to the comedy value when they mockingly cheered a kick they thought was going out on the full, it only bounced five yards in play lol
