Awful tragedy for his family and friends. R.I.P.

Good to see Kyle Amor getting involved with the fund raising efforts for Danny's family. He, Tyrone McCarthy, Roy Asotasi and Cuthbertson from Leeds all agreed to shave their beards and heads if the funds reached a certain level. Great to see the RL family getting behind such a good cause and if anyone on here hasn't donated and is in a position to do so, get it done.

On a more trivial note I hope Kyle's awesomeness doesn't go with his hair. I've seen it so many times in sport that a new look, haircut or kit colour, can destroy a player's confidence. And on an even more trivial note, how fit is Kyle beneath the hair? Wowsers, the boy could be a moviestar now.

Just a big thanks to The Directors and players and Staff at St Helens for there large donation to the Danny Jones fund, as a Cougar fan of 25 years I am truly touched by the generosity of the Rugby league family.

It's amazing to think that over 3,000 people have donated just to the JustGiving site. There are lots of bucket collections being organised, at clubs all over the country (eg Sussex Merlins, Southampton Spitfires, as well as the likes of Batley Bulldogs, Cramlington Rockets and such like). At present the JustGiving fund stands at over £55,000 (before gift aid) which is really impressive. I wouldn't be surprised if after all the donations from other collections is added to it that the total doesn't end up being in the region of £100,000. Either way, having money available for a year or two will take that burden away from Danny's wife to start with.
