Kurt Gidley turns 33 in June and is another 'utility' not someone we should be considering IMO.

Shame it had to end like this because I've always liked Lance. We can argue about whether he should have been signed but once he arrived he gave everything - under extremely trying circumstances.

If every foreign import was as naturally competitive SL wouldn't have any problems.

Of course - this leaves us incredibly short on backs. And Lance was a utility player which makes him doubly important.

Jones leaving, Dawson & Lomax injured, Swift is a bit random? Mcdonnel might be so cheap it makes no odds to have him around.

He wouldn't be able to without Saints agreeing to it? We might do of course, does seem like he's retiring as he's sick of not playing rather than actually that badly injured.
