A very very poor hull team came to langtree on Easter Monday who also had injuries and beat us on our own turf.
Add the hull KR game also, they had half their pack out and beat us.
Injuries can be a excuse but those games mentioned above we should have won but didn't play to our ability. The defence on edges is as poor as ive seen from a pro team.
However, if we get Burns and walsh firing and percy back in the centre we will be ok and should make top 4 but we need one hell of improvent and fast!'"

Not one outside back of ours would get into that leeds team tonight and that was without Hall and Briscoe.
Matty Fleming did ok but a winger ? younger version of Jones. Looks like we teach our young lads to run as though there running in cement, so slow it's unreal.'"
I agree we lack a outside back but God we miss a fully fit jonny lomax. Lomax puts the fear of good into teams as he's unpredicatble. Tommy doesn't offer anything with the ball.
I think we in dire need of a good prop. Amor being more dominated this year and we can't expect miracles of Richards, sav and Thompson as they are to young. So Walmsley is basically the only prop that can worry the other team.
I hope our recruitment is in order for 2016! |

Biggest load of crap I've ever seen on this board. Fast, athletic backs win you matches. Props win you TITLES.
If you haven't figured this out by now after nineteen seasons of SL (in which no team I can recall has won the GF without one or more top, top quality prop forwards).
Where would Leeds be without Jamie Peacock? |

I admire your backing of the club you support and love but without getting into another boring heated debate (ive tried not to the best I can) but that post seems like a bunch of excuses to me.
Not only saints played two games over Easter. Not only saints have players playing with injuries and not only saints have plsyers out injuried.
You need to accept that we are not as good as you think, it will cause less upset come the end of the season mate |

Lomax is gone for the season. No point counting him or wishing he was playing, his gone. We dont have one individual who can go 70 metres after breaking a tackle and i include Makinson is that. We dont have 1 international quality outside back at the club. Leeds have 4 and if Moon was English he'd be a shoe in aswel |

I know that Saints are the current league champions. Which means we are an excellent side.
Going in to any match there can only be three outcomes - win, lose or draw. Even the best sides go through sticky patches - usually when injuries are at their worst.
If we aren't as good as I think then the rest aren't as good as you're making out. As stated, it would only take a serious injury to ONE MAN on the Leeds side and they'd suddenly find it twice as difficult as they are now.
Warrington have fallen apart already.
Going into the Saints match Wigan were one game away from crisis point and they have all manner of problems to contend with in the pack.
Who else do we have to worry about? Hull KR? Cas? Huddersfied? Not likely.
All I know is I wouldn't wish too many posters in this thread fighting alongside me in a war. First sound of a bullet and you'd all be running in terror leaving me on my own to win the war.   |
