Not for me, beating Wigan to silverware is what really hurts them. At the end of the day history will judge teams , players and coaches by how may titles and trophies they've won not by how many times they got one over the local rivals. I cant argue beating the goons in a major final is the most satisfying feeling but I'd settle for beating Wakefield or Salford in the grand final tbh ... as long as we win I'n not that bothered
Wane suffers from this obsession with beating Saints and it will imo eventually form part of his undoing. As the coach he should be primarily focused on whats in front of him and his team and he should be making sure his players only think about who the are playing next .. instead he does a weird interview and starts prattling on about us when he should have been worried about Leeds.
