To behonest I could not see what he had done. They showed it a few times but it was tricky to see whether he had bent the elbow or broken the arm.

Not long term. Should be OK for Good Friday was the last I heard.

It looked for all the world like a break on the TV. His arm bent in two underneath his elbow joint. Hopefully we have dodged a major bullet here.

unfortunately i think this season was make or break for Lomax.

If we line up a replacement, it may do him some good - take the pressure off (and limit his rugby minutes) whilst he recouperates and conditions himself. if he can get fit again, he'll force his way back into the team, whether it be at #1, #6, #7, #9 or even centre or loose forward.

I think Swift could genuinely make a good shift to #1, he just need to have the confidence in his own mind, I reckon (otherwise it could be a train wreck). He's good under the kick, our most dangerous runner being elusive and strong. We'd just need to pick up a better winger than Dawson - What about that guy from gold coast who looked like a Samuri?

At a push I'd go with Dawson on the wing for a season. He's by no means slow. And to be fair to the lad, he's never had sufficient opportunity in a fixed position to develop any kind of confidence.

The club must have seen something in him or else they wouldn't have purchased. No use buying a player and then not giving him a chance.

Besides, I like the fact that he's put on a few pounds. He was very slight in frame last season. And wing really isn't a priority position. The Aussies proved that years ago. Provided you have someone who does what's necessary - it's ok.
