I wish you'd stop spreading this rubbish about Walsh. The club have just announced he will be back next month. Give it a rest.

I agree mate. I'm sick of hearing the other one now. The club statement should put the issue to bed.

Then I would suggest we need to look to blood a replacement, or sign a replacement for Lomax. Harsh, but that is two serious injuries in two seasons. Can he come back half the player he looked to be last season, pre injury?

Agreed, they have to use this season to sort his replacement if they think he can come from within the club.

Wello did okay tonight, but left all the kick returns to the wingers and was walked past several times. He did make one quality tackle on Atkins, but he's little more than a speed bump now.

I like Makinson at fullback, there must be a half decent outside back in the youth team?

Swift is a far more obvious candidate for FB.

Provided he gets his concentration together (and I think he will) he suits perfectly. Nimble feet. Explosive. Good hands.

Stick Dawson on the wing until someone comes available. Or Dawson improves sufficiently to make the spot his own.

Well Swift isn't a natural winger given his efforts to round the player on the outside with no room at all tonight, so we'll go with that.
