Koucash is a guy who likes to try and come up with ideas to improve the game of Rugby League. These ideas often put the sport as a whole infront of Salford. There are plenty of Chairmen who stand with only their own clubs interest in mind, which can be a cause for the games expansion and progression being stunted.

Some of Koucash's ideas aren't feasible, but it doesn't matter if he comes up with 99 bad ideas if the 100th works for rugby league. The key is that we've got someone thinking and plotting and genuinely wanting to work for the good of the game we love, rather than sitting in a bubble, ticking boxes and bemoaning all the reasons why we're failing to grow the sport whilst claiming a nice fat wage and pension from the RL.

He might sometimes seem like a ******, but who cares - ******s are quite often successful because they go for what they want and don't worry about upsetting all the critics who are sat around with their thumb up their ****. Everything Koucash has, he's built from scratch. He bows to no-one, which is the sort of man who should be representing one of the toughest sports in the world.

I'm not condoning his actions. But Rugby League is a tough game and players have a very limited shelf life before they are unceremoniously dumped onto the unemployment line. If he's owed half as much as he says then I can understand his frustrations with Harris.

Taking a pot-shot at Koukash suggests that he aint particularly bright.

I don't think Harris paid the wages to be honest. I'd imagine his beef is with the money men at the crusaders and not Harris.

Harris was surely only the coach. Wrexham failed due to the owners, not one season coach and the coach as far as I'm aware does not guarantee payments to the players??

He is targeting all the wrong people if it's his wages from Wrexham that is his real beef.

Either way could end up a lot poorer for that outburst.

I haven't paid that much attention to the specifics of their situation.

Harris wasn't the only person involved in that debacle. But he [irepresented [/ithose very same people [ito[/i the players. So I can understand why some guys might be disgruntled.

When you sign for a club you agree terms with the board. But it was your initial bond of TRUST with the manager which swung the decision in the first place (especially when two or more offers are for similar amounts).



Maybe he's wrong. But he certainly [ithinks [/ihe's right.



I doubt Koukash will get involved. If he sued every guy who said similar he'd probably never be out of court. And he's trying to ingratiate himself with the Aussies over a proposed NRL buy. He won't want to rock the boat too much. Just remember what happened to Maurice Lindsay when he ran afoul of the Aussie mainstream media.
