We have cap space, but for whatever reason we just aren't going for another forward. I think we could even afford the winger we were after (and he was on a lot!) but we decided it wasn't worth it (rightfully so)
Our lack of recruitment is by choice at this point, I can only hope it's because we have a plan for next year (keeping Walsh/ Masoe/ Jones) and targeting some of the quality available, as there's quite a few very good players available next year imo... |

Decent squad. We look better placed than last season I think in terms of depth looking at the numbers. Variables tho with a new head coach and attacking coach....
Just looking at other team's squads and the wolfs squad is the most competitive on paper.

We have room under the cap to move mid-season if something comes up. |

Sounds like a more sensible option as we have no obvious gaps.
A lot of people on here want a prop but we have several young props that could come through and give us too many options in that area.
We could go after a back (a winger according to the St.Helens secret handshake society) but we have plenty of cover there too and our first choice line up is pretty settled.
If someone comes up mid-season a lot of clubs will be up the cap and out of the running. |

As far as I'm aware, the isnt much cap space to play with. We went for a winger and couldn't do the deal as we couldn't pay him enough due to the cap.
