According to Mose Masoe Lance may have a broken jaw and will go for a scan this week. I hope he takes legal action.

Does the resulting injury have any bearings on the length of the ban?

It does in the NRL but don't think it does in SL.

When he was at Crusaders he tried it with Josh Perry who was in his first year with us and ended up spread eagle on the floor. Probably learned from that day that he could only go for the little guys. I also recall him playing for Wales against France(?) and punching someone in the back of the head whilst they were grappling with another Welsh player.
