The fact remains the Burns has played a good half season out of two. His first season was average. His second consisted of two halves good and again average. I do not claim to know why he has performed like this. He may or may not perform consistently better for you only time will tell. We rescued his career and he repaid us by giving us half a season. Do you actually want a player like that, who chooses when to give of his best? All this of course assumes he is actually going to cross the Pennines.

I'd take Blake Green anytime. He is more consistent, kicks better, try ratio whilst with us better. Always gives of his best. Better temperament. Only downside seems more susceptible to injury.
