I think it was due to the penalty given against LMS for leaning round at the play of the ball. IMO it was an incorrect call, I didn't see much wrong with what he did.

A few things. The penalty Monaghan got where he feigned injury was the softest penalty ever. Then the ref gave the 'offside' call against a player with two feet behind his own try line LMS reached in, but the ball was played far too far forward by Warrington, meaning the Saints players could reach it from behind the line.
