It was a comfortable win, but I'd like to give London a bit of credit as well. They don't have the greatest squad in the world and individual wise they may lack a bit of quality, but they don't throw the towel in. Doesn't matter what the score is, they keep coming and they give everything they've got.

Great trip this weekend. Great atmosphere and the Mark Flanagan song got a decent airing. We had a drink with a few of their fans after the game and they are really passionate and knowledgable about the game. They have a lot of young players but as I say, they don't give in.

We didn't play our best rugby in patches but our big guys were dominant yesterday as you say. Walmsley and Masoe both had good games and I thought Soliola put in a strong performance as well. Kyle Amor worked hard and has another game under his belt now. LMS has put in a couple of consistent performances now up the middle and hopefully that will continue. It's good to see these guys just tucking the ball under their arm and taking us forward. Soliola's try was pure class.

The biggest disappointment was losing Hohaia who was having another good game as well on the back of those I just mentioned. Had a hand in a couple of tries and looked composed. I've read a couple of posts criticising Mark Percival recently and I couldn't disagree more with that. He isn't the finished article and you can't expect him to be. He's a natural centre who will continue to grow and develop the longer he plays at this level on a consistent basis. Both Percival and Swift are prone to defensive errors but a lot of that is down to their decision making. That will improve. He's managed to string a few games together now and is such a threat with the ball. Dawson came in yesterday and didn't let anyone down once again. Whenever Luke Walsh is out, Wilko steps in and I thought his kicking game kept us ticking over despite those errors that have been mentioned.

As I say, great weekend. We weren't perfect but there were some really positive contributions which was pleasing.

I went the Hive this year to watch the Wire & really enjoyed the experience, a very friendly stadium with good facilities. I'll miss my annual weekend trip to London & wish the Broncos well for next year.

There was a Wire fan at the match yesterday, sitting with the Broncos fans. Needless to say Saints fans noticed him and gave him the appropriate abuse!

I spoke to him in the bar post game. He was actually an Aussie.

I've no doubt you were singing that out of date, out of tune & so last decade diatribe of 'It's always your year'. It's time for you Guys to move on, after all nowadays we rarely mention your shell suits.

Yet despite Saints never having a record of singing you'll never walk alone. We still get people singing the alternate version.

So we maybe out of date at times, yet at least we know which sport we are watching.
