But half of Wane's fine is also suspended, and Wane gets the chance of appeal whereas Brown doesn't.

So Brown has been a naughtier boy than Waney. But then we all knew that anyway coz Waney's from Wiggin and they're special.

I was wrong on the right of appeal thingy though. Mike Appleton advised me that Brown did have the right to appeal, but the club accepted the fine and so the right of appeal thingy wasn't mentioned in their press release. Obviously Wigan haven't made up their minds as to whether they will accept the fine yet.

Martyn Sadler of League Express tweeted that Nathan Brown had been fined but didn't mention Wane, and Josh Charnley has appeared in the Manchester Evening News saying how disgraceful Nathan Brown's comments were but hasn't mentioned that Wane has also been fined. Funny how that is!
