No I don't think I am sticking my head in the sand. All SL teams have off days even the top teams Wigan Warrington and Leeds . They all go through it , so we have had our day hopefully a day the players, coach and back room staff won't forget. Yes it's down to the players to deliver on the park which they did not today but that doesn't mean they have no motivation or desire . I believe it's there but today they were out played by the better team.

Well I dont think Turner will be on Marwans Christmas list.

At least he caught a crossfield kick. Unlike everyone else in our team.

It's the performance we are not accepting graciously; not the defeat. We are supposed to be top of the league. Technically we are (although not after Wednesday). A top of the league team should not be conceding 42 points at any time, never mind against a team where we have only been on the losing side once, when we fielded an under 19s team.


I hope he IS on his way out. He's done preciously little for us except drop the ball since he started. But then he's had Brown as his coach so he probably doesn't know from one week to the next which position he's playing.

Who's naive I never said anything about the other teams being nilled I said they have all had their off days. Wigan the other week were torn apart by Cas, Leeds and Warrington have also lost games. Saints are still at the top of the table . We can only learn from this terrible result and move on . No point brining up Good Friday it's gone we lost. Put those loses behind us and move on.

We are top until Wednesday, when Wigan beat Widnes. Then we are third at best, and our points difference is shocking now when compared to others around us. We lose to Cas on Sunday, which I expect us to, and we are fifth I think if others around us win. If Saints don't buck up their ideas by next weekend we could feasibly be out of the play off positions very quickly as there aren't many points between the top eight.
